CEO Alon Barzilay has led Barzilay Development since he founded the company in 2008. As CEO, he oversees the transformation of urban spaces such as warehouses, factories, and churches into modern residential spaces, while managing the design, construction, and marketing processes. Prior to his current position, Alon Barzilay gained valuable industry experience as vice president and partner at the Klein Company.

Alon Barzilay holds a bachelor of science in management and organizational behavior from Cornell University and a master’s degree in housing and real estate development from Harvard University. He is a longtime member of the Entrepreneur’s Organization, and is involved with both the Philadelphia and New York chapters of the organization. In recognition of his work he was named the 2016 winner of the Entrepreneur Organization’s Agents of Change award.

In his spare time, Mr. Barzilay pilots helicopters. An accomplished blues musician, he plays the keyboard as well as the piano. Additionally, he enjoys traveling and has visited cities all over the world.
