Born in Ankara in 2000, Alptuğ Dağ is a multidisciplinary creative who has been writing and illustrating since 2012. He views storytelling not just as a profession, but as a method of documenting life with radical transparency.

Education & Career Pivot

Alptuğ began his academic journey in the Radio, Television, and Cinema department at Başkent University (2018) before transferring to Film Design (2019). graduating with a high GPA. While his academic background provided a strong theoretical foundation in visual arts, he quickly recognized the limitations of the traditional film sector in his region. Demonstrating adaptability, he pivoted his focus to the digital landscape.

Since 2024, he has been working remotely in the Gaming Industry as a Marketing Artist and Freelance Video Editor. He combines his cinematic narrative skills with digital marketing strategies to create compelling visual content.

Perspective & Resilience

Navigating life with Cerebral Palsy, Alptuğ has developed a unique perspective on the world. This experience has instilled in him a heightened sense of observation and a strategic mindset—constantly calculating necessary steps in environments not always designed for him. Far from being a hindrance, this has fueled his resilience, discipline, and uncompromising principles.

He defines himself not by external validation, but by his ability to remain steadfast and productive amidst challenges. Alptuğ Dağ continues to produce work that resonates with the solitary and the misunderstood, turning personal resilience into professional creativity.
