Al Smith

Al is a professional photographer and Entrepreneur based out of Victoria, BC, Canada. Al’s creative and charismatic nature, mixed with his ability to motivate, encourage, and cultivate people, have made him an expert at building companies and early stage growth development. His first venture out of university was an aerospace engineering firm launched in 1996 with his father and brother called Candence Engineering. He is now the CEO/Founder of Oprius software and consults to multiple local start-ups. Al shoots images for editorial and commercial content. His business skills and background make him a great addition to a marketing team. He uniquely understands how to mix creativity with business goals to create stunning images that produce results.
