Althea Fung

I am a Digital Healthcare Journalist. I hold a bachelor’s and master’s degree in journalism from the State University of New York at New Paltz and Columbia University, respectively. Currently, I am an editor for Remedy Health Media's HIV/AIDS information website, TheBody.com. Before joining Remedy Health in 2015, I was a digital media producer for Northwell Health (formerly North Shore-LIJ Health System).

I was a reporter at the National Journal in Washington, DC, the Jersey Journal in New Jersey, and the Richmond Times-Dispatch in Virginia. I have also written and edited for Metro US, Beyond Race Magazine, Uptown Magazine, About.com, Catholic Health Initiatives, George Washington University Hospital and a number of other private companies.

I live in Brooklyn and write short stories in my free time.
