Aaron Alva researches at the intersection of data security, law, & policy on a variety of topics including cloud forensics, digital evidence admissibility, surgical robotics security, legal requirements engineering, and in consumer protection.
Aaron is the Tech Policy Fellow at the Federal Trade Commission. Before the FTC, Aaron contributed to the UW Tech Policy Lab, and completed a joint-J.D. and M.S. in Information Management as an NSF CyberCorps scholarship recipient at the University of Washington.
In his free time, Aaron is an avid mobile photographer.
