ALYCIA HILD

I am Alycia, a third-year student teacher at the University of Johannesburg, specializing in Life Sciences and Geography FET. I am also a Life Sciences tutor and a recipient of the Top 10 Geography Awards. My teaching philosophy is centred on moving learning beyond imagination to manipulation through meaningful, hands-on experiences that foster creativity, collaboration and critical thinking.

My research interests include educational psychology, particularly understanding how learners think, learn, and develop. I am equally interested in learning how to integrate technology effectively into teaching and learning.

Outside of work, I enjoy reading and unwinding with a good cup of coffee in a green space.
