Alyssa Lee
Student in Boone, North Carolina
I am a student currently living in Boone, North Carolina. My interests range from coffee to fitness, and I am also interested in shopping for athletic wear, singing, and binge-watching Netflix.
I have worked in the restaurant industry for a little over four years, and my greatest accomplishment through this has been gaining multiple connections and building my customer service skills. Providing great interpersonal communication is a big priority in my life, whether it’s in a professional setting or a laid-back environment. Along with serving and helping others out of generosity and love.
In May 2019, I will be graduating with my Communication Studies major, General Business minor, from Appalachian State University. Since my attendance here, I have been a sister of Kappa Delta, Epsilon Epsilon Chapter, advised freshman as an Appol Corp Leader for Welcome Weekend, and participated as an active volunteer for university wide community service events, such as Dance Marathon and the Annual Homecoming Blood Drive.
As an early college student, I graduated with my high school diploma and Associate’s in Arts at the age of 18. Attending Appalachian State University was a big transition; knowing that I would get to graduate in three years felt a little uneasy because I would be going out into the “real world” at such a young age. Despite this, my experiences have turned me into the person I am today. Someone who is attentive, confident, easy going, and maintains a strong work ethic.
