Alyssa Davis

Alyssa is a mover, educator, and creator with a passion for dance exploration and discovery. As a soon to be graduate of Dean College, she strives to entertain and inspire using her love of dance. At Dean, she has personally been trained by dance greats such as Jill Silverman, Bill Evans, Gregory King, Rose Pasquarello Beauchamp, Robbie Mulrey, and Todd Shanks. Most recently, she completed Alvin Ailey American Dance Theater's Summer Intensive and performed in a piece choreographed by Judine Somerville. She is currently working for the New York Dance Experience as the assistant to the director, helping with Lifetime's "Dance Moms" filmings, developing contracts, creating graphic designs for advertisement purposes, and helping with various other administrative tasks.

She is a teacher of many styles, her favorites including commercial contemporary, jazz, and dance improvisation. Her students range in ages from three to eighteen and have always inspired her to dance fuller and be braver than the day before. Her choreography has been showcased at Dean College and in Southern Maine through Scarborough Dance Center.

Her performance career includes dancing at the Ailey Citigroup Theater, Gillette Stadium, Dean College, Disney World in Orlando, Florida and the American College Dance Association's Festival.
