Alyssa Rassi, DMD

Dr. Rassi is a general dentist at Great Lakes Dental Arts in Mentor, Ohio. She graduated from Case Western Reserve University School of Dental Medicine in 2017 and completed an advanced GPR residency program at Summa Health System Hospital in 2018.
During her time at Case Western, Dr. Rassi was a member of several dental organizations, including the American Student Dental Association, the Academy of General Dentistry, the American Dental Education Association, and the Psi Omega Dental Fraternity. Her current memberships include the American Dental Association, the Academy of General Dentistry, and the Ohio Dental Association.
Dr. Rassi received her Bachelor's degree in Biology from Wesleyan University in Middletown, Connecticut. She occupied several leadership roles while at Wesleyan, such as Student Manager of the Usdan University Center, President of the Usdan Managers Association, President of the Wesleyan Pre-Dental Society, President of The Cardinal Players (Wesleyan's pep band), and more.
Dr. Rassi is the recipient of the Dean's Award for Academic Excellence (2017), the Hudec Dental Scholarship (2017), the Delta Dental scholarship (2013, 2014, 2015, and 2016), the Ohio Dental Association scholarship (2014), the Certificate of Excellence in Facial Growth and Development (Case Western Reserve University's School of Dental Medicine), the 2012 Heideman Award (Wesleyan University), the 2011 Outstanding Service Award (Usdan University Center at Wesleyan University), the 2011 Student Employee Award (Association of College Unions Internatioanl), Regional Conference Scholar Award (Association of College Unions International), and several awards relating to her contributions to research in macromolecular and chemical engineering from institutions such as the United States Air Force, ASM Materials Education Foundation, Ricoh Corporation, and Hathaway Brown.
Dr. Rassi’s favorite hobby is scuba diving. She has been scuba diving since 2001 and became a certified professional Open Water Diver instructor in 2010. She also enjoys playing the flute, traveling, baking, cooking, trying new restaurants, spending time with friends and family, and going to Cleveland Indians games.
