I love seeing images flow through the camera lens and I've been involved in making movies on film or video since 1994 when I first took a class in filmmaking. Now I work at John Jay College making videos to help advance the college's mission to educate for justice - which is one of my passions. Outside of my full-time job, I create videos for artists, environmental activists, thought leaders and people from all walks of life who have something interesting to share - a bit of wisdom, a new way to look at life. I'm very curious about how people think and experience the world; hence, in a former incarnation (my youth), I was a meditation and yoga teacher as well as a founder of a holistic preschool in Taiwan. That's why I speak Mandarin Chinese and I still can order pretty smoothly at a restaurant thank you very much. Combining the seekings of the human spirit with the moving image really engages me.
