Amancio Alonso

An experienced oil and gas executive, Amancio Alonso served as president of Macmillan Oil Company from 1995 to 2015, during which time he managed all operations and helped grow annual revenue from $750,000 to $700 million. In addition, the Miami, Florida resident has been a licensed real estate broker for more than 50 years. Amancio Alonso has also owned racehorses for more than four decades.
Presently focused primarily on horse racing, Amancio Alonso has owned 20 horses since 2000, all of which have won at least $3,000 in prize money. His most successful horse has been Flora Fantasy, which won a pair of races in 2019 and has accumulated in excess of $160,000 in earnings. Others, like Taco, Nicholas Vision, and Rock You, have earned more than $40,000.
Mr. Alonso holds membership with professional organizations such as the Florida Horsemen's Association and the Florida Real Estate Association. He is an alumnus of Miami Dade College and, in his spare time, enjoys following the NFL's Miami Dolphins and the Miami Heat of the NBA.
