Amanda Isberg

Ciudad Ojeda, Venezuela

This is my fourth year as an international elementary teacher. I am the second grade teacher at Escuela Las Morochas in Venezuela. I'm signing on for a third year in Venezuela at another school called CIC Valencia where I will be a third grade teacher.

When not actively teaching, I love to try new recipes, go out salsa dancing, practice yoga, and explore new places.

After finishing my second master’s degree my professional goal will be to get trained in the PYP so I can work in one of the top international schools (which are typically IB Schools). My ideal school would be the American International School of Barcelona. Another goal I have is for my conversational Spanish to be at a near native fluency in two years (I’m an optimist- I’ve studied for six years in school…it might be possible!).
