Hi! I'm Amanda Kennedy, let me tell you a bit about myself!
I was born in Newfoundland, Canada and I've lived in Ontario since I was 7 years old. Now, I am 19 years old. I may seem young, but I have experienced a lot of the world and have always been perceptive of that. In 2012, I graduated from Sacred Heart Catholic High School with my bilingual certificate. I speak English as my first language and French as my second. I am outgoing and would never turn down an opportunity to meet someone new or to have fun. However, I have my priorities in order in the way that I am very hard-working and organized.
I am an extremely goal-oriented person. I am continuously setting goals and planning out ways to improve my current life as well as my future. This has helped me become a very optimistic, opportunistic individual. I believe that everything happens for a reason and that one should never say "no" if saying "yes" is the better option.
I really enjoy working in fast-paced environments and love being surrounded by happy, upbeat people. I find working fun.
I am currently a student at Algonquin College studying Business Management and Entrepreneurship while working as a Barista at Starbucks. Everything I do; I do it for a reason.
My goals for my near future include completing my program and getting my degree at Algonquin College with a GPA of over 3.5. I also want to be completely moved out of my parents' house and into an appartment before the end of October. I want to maintain a healthy weight and lifestyle and save a lot of money within the next 2 years so I can travel to a number of different places all over the world during 2015/2016.
My long-term goals include becoming a manager of a company for a few years to learn and have a better understanding of what it is to be a manager/ owner of a business so that once I feel comfortable in that position for a while, I can become an entrepreneur and own an original cafe in the heart of Montreal. These are goals that I am very serious about and I intend to accomplish them.
