Hi! My name is Amanda. I am a professionally trained and credentialed birth & bereavement doula. I have walked a long winding path to find my calling in the birth world.
After suffering birth trauma, with the birth of my son almost 2.5 years ago, I knew becoming a support advocate for preganant and laboring moms (and families) was a calling for me.
A bit about the bereavement side of my work. I have suffered from severe endometriosis since I was 15. It has since, made it very difficult for me to concieve and carry a child to full term. Because of that, I have 3 angel babies who constantly inspire me to support mothers and families however I can, in any trimester. I want to walk with you in your grief and offer my shoulder and support when it is needed.
The StillBirthday birth and bereavement training I recieved is so in depth both academically, spiritually, emotionally. It really changed the way I view the world around me, and the people in it.
My hope is to bring calm and love to every birth space I enter. To nuture and cherish my time spent with you and family. To humbly serve the glorious laboring mother as she brings a babe earthside, however is best for her.
I support women, on any path, in any culture.
We are all in this together. <3
