When Christopher Columbus set from Spain in 1492, he was seeking a way to expand world trade by finding a shorter distance to the Orient. He never succeeded in his quest to find this new route, but he did find something new and the world changed. I am looking for a route to my future.

I am currently a student at Texas A&M University with expected graduation date of May 2014. College of Education and Human Development - When I was in the fifth grade I applied for and was granted a patent (United States 280/47.24; 280/47.19; 280/248). I saw my Mom trying to lift a large basket of clothes. I invented a hand cart for lifting and transporting containers that has hand grip apertures or handles in their sides or ends.

Today I am looking at education reform as my opportunity to change the future. A recent IBM poll of 1,500 CEOs identified creativity as the No. One “leadership competency” of the future. We have no choice but to rethink the future of education. I am a very hard worker and love to learn. I want to expand my knowledge and broaden my view of the world. I am ready to set sail.
