Amanda L. Anderson
Professor, Writer, and Parent in Delaware
I long to live in a world where fairy magic is real, the best books never end, and I somehow manage to write every day without sacrificing the time I spend with my daughter.
As a college professor, I'm often busy teaching literature classes, directing plays, and writing exciting stories for children and young adults.
When I'm not buried in papers that need grading, you can find me working in my art journal, writing, or telling my daughter original fairy tales.
My next theater production--an updated version of A Midsummer's Night's Dream — hits the stage this fall.
Look for my encyclopedia entries in the forthcoming American Myths, Legends, and Tall Tales: An Encyclopedia of American Folklore.
