Amanda Bancalari

Hi there, I’m Amanda! I’m an international student studying primary education at Deakin University in VIC, Australia. I'm originally from NYC and most of the time people can tell right away from my accent:) Aside from having a passion for education, I also love watching/discussing movies/TV shows, exercising (specifically kickboxing and spinning), and wandering around new places. Making people laugh is my absolute favourite thing and I'm a strong believer in humour when it comes to working with children! My university experience in Australia is definitely unique compared to what I'm used to back home in New York (I definitely miss places being open late at night). So far I have enjoyed many new experiences in Australia and have met so many wonderful people, which I hope will have a positive impact on my role as a teacher!
