My strengths can be found within my ability to interact with and meet new people, develop innovative ideas, manage projects, as well as the attention I pay to the smallest of details. Pouring myself into every project, I enjoy telling a story that is clear, concise and designed with an authentic audience in mind. My favorite projects are when I have the opportunity to pull at an audience’s heart strings, moving, encouraging, and inspiring them to make a positive change. I am known throughout the Harlingen community for having a strong work ethic, being personable, my willingness to assist others and the standards I have for producing high quality work, all of which have allowed me to develop a strong, reliable network of notable community contacts.

For about nine years I worked with the Harlingen School District’s Public Relations Department and Television Station where I had the unique opportunity to develop and hone a vast set of creative, technical and valuable skills in networking, marketing, presentation design, television, audio/video production, web tools and so much more; all of which I am eager to share with an organization that has a desire to take things to a new level.

While volunteering has been something I have participated in frequently over the years, my career in serving the public really strengthened when I became President for the City Council of Harlingen PTAs, a term in which I served for several years and consisted of supporting boards for twenty four Harlingen PTAs and a local membership of approximately 4,000 members. Through this amazing opportunity I went on to participate in Texas PTA’s 2014 Emerging Leaders Academy, the Leadership Harlingen Class of XXIX, which led to having the honor of joining the board of directors for the Harlingen Area Educational Foundation as well as Mu Zeta’s Delta Kappa Gamma International Women’s Society. I have served on countless committees, small focus and strategic planning groups within the community as well as hosted a variety of technology oriented trainings.

My time in public service and volunteerism has been so rewarding that I have often said I would love to make a career of it. God has spoken big dreams into my life, equipping me with a heart for serving, an overwhelming sense of compassion for the struggling, along with a genuine desire to help and encourage others.

A firm believer in the benefits of servant leadership, I am looking for a position that would a
