About Me
Client Success Manager | HRIS Consultant | MBA Candidate | Military Spouse | Girl Mom x2 | Professional “we’ve got this” Human
I’m Amanda — a people-centered professional who thrives in the messy, meaningful moments of transition.
By day, I serve as a Client Success Manager supporting employers through RecruitMilitary, partnering with organizations to connect them with veteran and military talent in ways that are intentional, human, and built to last.
Beyond the title, I’m also the person other military spouses call during deployment seasons and career pivots — the steady voice, the strategist, the “okay, let’s make a plan” friend.
My background spans global DoD recruiting, healthcare talent pipelines, estate administration, people operations, and career coaching. The industries change, but the through-line doesn’t:
• I make complicated things feel doable.
• I help people breathe again.
• I walk with them until the next step feels safe.
• I bring structure to chaos, clarity to confusion, and humanity to processes that sometimes forget they’re dealing with humans.
Half strategist. Half listener.
Fully in your corner.
How I Work (Or: Why People Hand Me Their Confusion and Trust Me With It)
My résumé tells you where I’ve worked.
It doesn’t tell you how I show up. I:
- spot gaps others miss
- build solutions without waiting for permission
- turn “this is a mess” into “here’s the plan”
- simplify intimidating processes
- and help people feel capable when they’re convinced they’re not
I’m calm under pressure and practical when things get complicated. Whiteboard out. Sleeves rolled up. Let’s fix it.
When something needs to change, I speak up — kindly, clearly, and firmly.
And when someone is being overlooked or dismissed? That’s when I advocate loudest.
Because the “little person” in the room?
They matter to me. Always.
What I Do Best (AKA My Superpowers, Just With HR-Friendly Language)
- Turning “I’m overwhelmed” into “I’ve got this”
- Helping people articulate goals they can’t quite name yet
- Balancing empathy with accountability
- Asking questions that open doors
- Building trust quickly — and keeping it
- Communicating with warmth, humor, and precision
- Simplifying complex systems without losing the details
- Improving processes with creativity and common sense
These strengths show up whether I’m:
- guiding an employer through hiring strategy
- supporting a veteran navigating civilian work
- helping a military spouse rethink their career path
- or streamlining onboarding and people operations behind the scenes
Different scenarios.
Same mission: make it clearer, lighter, and more doable.
Why I Care (Spoiler: Because This Work Actually Matters)
People don’t need perfection. They need clarity.
They need someone who doesn’t roll their eyes when they say, “I don’t know where to start.”
I’ve been that person. And now I get to be the one who says, “Okay — we’ll figure it out together.”
Through RecruitMilitary, I help employers and veterans build better matches and better futures.
Through my operations and HR systems work, I help teams run smoother so people aren’t buried in process.
And in my everyday life, I support military spouses navigating the career curveballs that come with service life.
At the center of all of it is the same goal:
Help people move forward with confidence.
The Life Behind the Work (Military Spouse + Mom Energy Activated)
Being a military spouse means adaptability isn’t optional — it’s muscle memory.
I’ve learned how to pivot fast, rebuild often, and keep moving when plans change overnight. Deployment seasons come with their own flavor of chaos, and somewhere along the way, I became the calm friend others lean on when everything feels up in the air.
Less panic.
More “okay, here’s what we’re gonna do.”
I’m also mom to two bold, hilarious girls who have given me an unofficial PhD in negotiation, crisis management, multitasking, and getting everyone out the door with at least most of their shoes.
They keep me grounded, grateful, and very real about what actually matters.
If you’re thinking, “We need someone like this on our side,”
hi — that’s kind of my thing.
If you’re hiring, rebuilding, pivoting, or just staring at a messy process thinking “there has to be a better way”… there probably is — and I’m happy to help you find it. Whether you’re an employer, a veteran, or a fellow military spouse, my door (and inbox) is always open. Let’s figure it out together.
