Amanda Cooney

I am a project manager & attorney currently living in the Upstate New York.

Having worked both in large corporate environments (Deloitte) and smaller start-up environments, I have experience conducting global investigations from end-to-end. On one banking investigation, I leveraged analytics technology in order to increase efficiencies on the project. With my management, I was able to complete a project with only seven team members over two months instead of the projected 100 team members over four months that it would have taken without analytics. During a fraud investigation, I uncovered secret codewords in trader chats and reported findings to US regulators, saving the client $6 million in reduced fines.

At home and at work, I am motivated by finding solutions and empowering others to achieve their own successes. With a passion for investigations and big data, I am the person most likely to find the needle in the haystack. I love learning new technologies, using analytics, and working with clients to find innovative and efficient solutions to make their lives easier.

I am a happy yogi currently working on some new inversions and an avid home cook and food blogger who tries to feed everyone I meet!
