My name is Amanda Cheung and I was born on February 19, 1994 in Augusta, GA. I have one older brother, one lab mix, three Chihuahuas, and three tanks of fish at home. I love to spend time with my friends and family, go shopping, play basketball, and watch Korean dramas in my spare time. I graduated from Lakeside High School and am now attending the University of Georgia. My major is Biology, and I hope to become an anesthesiologist or a nurse anesthetist in the future. I took dance lessons from when I was a little girl until I became a freshman in high school. Therefore, I'll be making noise with my feet every now and then because of the all the tap classes I use to take. In high school, I joined the marching band, which was fairly time consuming. I know how to play the piano and the alto saxophone. My life has been filled with unforgettable moments. At the start of my summer, I played on stage for Lady Antebellum in front of all their fans. I've traveled to many places like Hong Kong, Thailand, Shanghai, South Korea, and other countries in the United States. One of the most devastating moments in my life was when my father was murdered back in 2009. From that, I've learned that you truly don't understand how much one person or thing means to you until you've lost him/her/it. Therefore, I hope that everyone cherishes what they have instead of taking everything for granted.
