Amanda F. Peterson

Public Speaker and Small Business Owner in Redding, California

Amanda Flowers Peterson resides in Redding, CA with her husband and two children. She is an advocate and entrepreneur with a knack for thinking of creative solutions to solve world wide social injustice issues: racism, trauma, mental health stigma and access to mental heath care, to name a few.

Having been active in the Youth Ministry sphere for most of her professional career, Amanda feels specifically drawn towards serving, equipping, and empowering others.

She is currently keeping busy: Building Zion Case Management Coalition Services, an LLC designed to support individuals in crisis of any kind with resources and advocacy. Being a Public Speaker for Stand Against Stigma. Facilitating Mental Health disclosure trainings, with the state ran program: Coming Out Proud. Empowering the classically oppressed, like minorities and the homeless community, to have a voice at every table of decision in her city.

Upon arriving to Redding, she became a Community Health Advocate for Shasta County Health and Human Services and is now a Brave Face Advocate with the Stand Against Stigma campaign. Additionally, she and her husband serve as Connect Pastors with their local church, Bethel.

Her one true passion in life is to identify the invisible in society and provide them with a safe place to be seen, heard, and empowered. Ensuring, that all gain opportunities to exercise their strongest God-given weapon: their voice.
