Hi! Thanks for visiting my page. I'll start off by introducing myself. My name is Amanda Grundle, I'm 17 years old, and I like to write songs. And sing. Aaaaaand play guitar. If you've heard my music on Youtube, then you're awesome. If not, the link is right there ;) And you're still awesome. I dream of headlining sold out stadiums someday, and inspiring all of you amazing people. Lets see...I've been singing my whole life, (no lessons, though) and writing songs ever since I knew what rhyming meant. Well, back then, my version of an original song were writing rhyming phrases that I'd sing instead of speak. Even if they made absolutely NO sense. I think the first song I wrote with a verse-chorus-verse theme going on was when I was six, which was basically the story of how I learned to ride a bike. Inspiration can come from anywhere, right? Anyways, when I was 12, (after a loooooong time of begging) I finally got my first Fender Squier Strat electric guitar and started teaching myself. Then when I was 14, I took a guitar class at school with a new acoustic Fender, and I haven't stopped since. Again, no professional, formal lessons. As of right now, I right songs in my bedroom about things that are happening in my life, and teach myself new chords and how to sing better, and I sometimes perform around my town. (I don't have much of a social life, surprise, surprise.) I also love watching other performers because It gives me a lot of inspiration. Now, for the pointless information about me that I feel like posting in hopes that you find it interesting. I'm Canadian. I have THE MOST ADORABLE DOG IN THE WHOLE WORLD. Which brings me to my next thing. I'm OBSESSED with animals. I love animals, live or toys. Maybe that's why I've recently become a vegetarian. Well, technically pescatarian. I CANNOT give up sushi or fish and chips, even if those fishies have faces. (Sorry fishies!) Also, maybe I find it easier to eat fish because I've grown up fishing with my dad. Other than that, I've never hunted any other animal, and I cringe at the thought.
You should know a little bit about my music. Well, as aforementioned, I've ALWAYS written my own music. I've never co-written, but I plan on it. I'm not currently published, but again, I plan on it. i still need to figure out that wrole process. My ultimate dream is to get a record deal and to become a country music recording artist. Like Taylor Swift, basically, yet still remaining my own person.
