Amanda Green was born in a Texas town so small it didn't have pizza delivery. After college at the University of Texas at Austin, she moved to New York City to teach in Harlem public schools.
Amanda later entered the exciting, less hormonal world of digital marketing. Now she pays her bills with freelance writing and digital marketing consulting for cool brands and companies.
Amanda's writing has appeared in New York Press, The Guardian, the New York Times City Room blog, and Nerve. She blogs about her misadventures in love, work, and public transportation on Noisiest Passenger.
