Artist and poet Amanda Holiday completed a degree in Fine Art at Wimbledon and exhibited in landmark black art shows such as ‘The Image Employed’ and ‘Black Art - Plotting The Course’.
Holiday moved into film & scriptwriting - directing a number of short experimental films for the Arts Council, BFI and Channel 4. Between 2001-10, she lived in Cape Town where she worked in educational television.
Her chapbook 'The Art Poems' was published as part of New Generation African Poets (Tano). In 2020 she founded Black Sunflowers Poetry Press.
