Hey there, I’m Amanda. I’m an Event & Operations Manager in Toronto, ON, Canada. I am a fan of the arts, yoga, sports, writing and coffee. Lots of coffee and not in that order. I’m an old soul writing a personal blog after taking a year off to solo travel before relocating to Canada. Always looking for the next music festival.

I am an experienced, multifaceted, self-motivated & outcomes orientated event professional having worked across the arts & cultural industries in the charitable, corporate, private & government sectors.

Originally from Sydney, Australia with over ten years' experience in non-profit, government, private & corporate industries. I hold a Bachelors Degree in Business Management & an Honours Degree in Commerce specializing in arts & cultural place-making events. I recently completed a "Motivating Arts & Cultural Teams" course with Michigan State University. I am theoretically & practically competent in conceptualizing cultural activations with artists' as vehicles for community capacity.

In Australia, I led a 50,000 patron NYE event and created a month-long public art festival with 14 events over the month.

I've supervised crew at the Sydney Opera House, managed 38 international artists for a 15,000 pax festival while being a part of the team producing Australia's largest EDM music festival.

I am proactive, capable, diplomatic & high functioning. My creative mindset has me interested in inclusive, progressive & engaged events.
