I am a recent college graduate with a bachelors degree in a field I am passionate about but will probably never work in, Deaf Studies. I am engaged and soon to be married to the love of my life, Holly. My skills are centered around customer service and sales, but my passions are mainly in technology based marketing and business growth, with a little Deaf education advocacy mixed in.
At my current position, I'm an everything employee. I do the filing, billing, invoicing, appointment setting and I am trying to help the company grow through utilization of social media marketing. Business during the last year since I've started working here has definitely improved, but I won't take all the credit.
I want to make the world a better place, which is why I think I've worked in customer service and sales so long. Helping people achieve their goals, buy that right gift, get the right items for a project, there's nothing more satisfying. I hope to learn new ways that I can change the world because I am full of ideas and ready to get them going.
I'm writing a book, not sure what the title is yet, but it's a work in progress and I think it is going quite well, but that's just me. I also enjoy recreational things like playing video games, spending time with my family and my cats, and planning my wedding.
Future goals include starting a family, finding a job where I can utilize all of my skills and still enjoy what I do, and continue becoming a better person each and every day. As long as I end up better than when I started, I feel like I'm achieving my goals.
