Hi everyone! I’m Amanda! I’ll start off by welcoming you to my blog. I’m a born and raised, true blue Rhode Islander. Though I did spend 4 years living in Virginia while my husband proudly served in the Navy. During this time, I learned A LOT! I was far from home, no family, no friends, and married to a man who was about to be deployed for months at a time with little communication with each other. I made it a point to learning everything I could in order to prepare for my independence. I learned how to cook, coupon, and DIY everything from home repairs to home decor. After serving 7 years, my husband decided not to reenlist. We moved back to my home state of Lil’ Rhody and bought our first house! About a year later we found out I was pregnant with our son, Dylan. Then, when Dylan was 3 months old, we found out I was pregnant with our daughter, Sydney. Now, here I am! I’m now a housewife with 2 amazing little monsters and a loving, supportive husband. Everyday is a crazy, new adventure with still so much to learn. But when I look at the bigger picture, I’m a pretty lucky lady. And I’m here to learn and to share with you all my little life of… Perfect Imperfection!
