Former Miss Massachusetts, Amanda Kelly-Silberman, has a passion for service. During her year of service, Amanda raised funds and awareness for cancer research and support for families who's loved ones were going through treatment. Through speaking engagments, volunteering and creating fundraising events Amanda has raised thousands of dollars for the fight against cancer. She has worked many organizations including The Make-a-Wish Foundation, The Jimmy Fund, Leukemia and Lymphoma Society, The American Cancer Society and the Susan G. Komen Foundation.
Her passion for supporting cancer research didn't end there- Amanda has taken her commitment to giving to the road. Former college sprinter, but new marathoner, Amanda now runs for what she stands for. As a mentor for the Team in Training Massachusetts Chapter, Amanda races for a cure. She created a non-profit virtual race company that benefits the Leukemia Lymphoma Society, entitled HAPPY Races. HAPPY stands for "Have A Purpose. Push Yourself" and it encourages all participants to figure out what moves them and to push past their comfort zone to achieve more and give back to others.
When she's not running or speaking on behalf or organizations, she's wired in. Amanda is a Marketing Manager who specializes in CRM, Email, Brand and Loyalty. With a Marketing MBA from Babson College and years of analytics and strategy, Amanda loves supporting brands through customer retention and loyalty. Whether it's email or print campaigns, Amanda believes in the power of aunthenticity and the importance of conveying a genuine message.
