From an early age I learned that there was a lot of injustice in the world, but a lot of hope, too. And I took that perspective right out into the world with me and have made it my calling ever since.
Over the years I’ve had the opportunity to start my own nonprofit, help launch others, and work for some amazing changemakers and social entrepreneurs who are making a real difference in housing, poverty, economic opportunity, human rights, health care, education, special needs and immigration reform. I'm a bit of a serial entrepreneur when it comes to nonprofits--I love to get in at the ground level, help build something, stick around to make sure it's working, and then get out of the way.
For that reason, I started ThirdSpace Consulting. I work with nonprofits who are using technology for social change, or who want to use technology for social change, and I help them figure out what will work best, who the right partners are, and then help them with everything from a strategy to implementation. Because I'm an A to Z kinda gal who doesn't like to leave things unfinished.
I recently moved to Burlington, Vermont from Silicon Valley with my husband, who is my thought-partner and an inspiration to me every single day. Living in Vermont, I am astonished on a daily basis at the raw beauty of this state, and by the warm, generous people who live here. I’m also known to draw comics, take photos, do 30-day challenges, and be a mom to two adorable and small boys. Through their eyes I am re-learning wonder and how to believe that anything is possible, as long as you can imagine it.
