Amanda Rasmussen

Hi, my name is Amanda Rasmussen which you might have already seen. I live in Bay CIty, Michigan where I have my whole life. I am seventeen years old and a senior at Garber High School.

Throughout my whole academic life I have attended Essexville-Hampton Public Schools. In the fall of 2017, I will be going to Saginaw Valley State University. My major is currently undecided, however, I am leaning towards majoring in Social Work.

Some skills or things that I am good at would be that I love helping people. Whether it's doing their homework or helping them get through a rough time at home. Listening and having empathy for people is what I am best at.

I think it also helps to surround myself with people who inspire me to be a better person every day. Having an older sister that has been my biggest supporter has helped me become the person I am today.
