Teacher in Spain
Creative, wanderer, feminist, empathic and happy individual trying to get the best out of this world.
I recently completed a MA in Teaching Spanish as a Foreign Language (Instituto Cervantes) while working as a lecturer at Addis Ababa University, in Ethiopia. Even though I hold a BA in Translation and Interpreting (English/French>Spanish), I have always been interested in teaching my mother tongue and exchanging cultural experiences with others.
During my stay in Ethiopia, I became aware of the importance of cooperation and development. This is the main reason why I have been trained in International Cooperation (University of Camilo José Cela) while having the opportunity of working at the Training Center of the African Union Commission and conducting an action research project related to gender and education. Thus, I proved myself to be self-motivated, organised and capable of working under pressure by successfully combining my teaching job with studies, research projects and other commitments.
I am currently seeking the opportunity to work as a teacher and keep contributing to my professional development.
