Amani Atra

I am an entrepreneur and student at Ryerson University. I am also the co-founder of NewHouse & Co. As a multimedia student, I have experience and skills in different fields such as visual arts, film-making and computer design. My passion to create is what motivates me to do achieve my goals!

I originally come from Jordan; the Middle East, but was born and raised in Dubai – UAE. Dubai, the city of modernization and man-made miracles deeply influences my taste. Everything has tobe excellent. Everything must be complete in shape, functionality and serve the purpose.

Havinglived in an Arab country with a recognizable blend of western lifestyle influenced my thinkinglines, opened up new horizons for me and raised the bar in my judgment on things around me. Ittaught me that proper utilization of available tools makes things happen, with a touch ofdistinction.

I come to Canada with that blend and mixture of cultures, that vision of perfection and that aspiration for excellence. To me, this is a key factor in my journey. What tools will I use, whatapproaches will I learn and what addition to my knowledge that shall happen in the comingyears; will shape my output.

I own my artist heart and long for its creations. I have ready hands to put to work. I love what I see around me in people, places and things. Do I know now what differences shall I make? Idon’t! But will!
