Aman Mahajan

Aman Mahajan is a pianist/keyboardist, laptop/electronic musician, producer and composer, fortunate to have worked with a wide variety of musicians of diverse cultural backgrounds.

• Graduating from the Berklee College of Music in 2007, Mahajan is influenced by jazz, folk, classical and electronic styles of music from across Africa, Europe, India and the American continents, and inspired by a sense of universal unity and connection.

• Based in Bangalore, India, Mahajan leads jazz/world ensemble, REFUGE.

• He regularly performs, composes and arranges with Mystik Vibes, UNK: The Radha Thomas Ensemble, Krishna's Temple Rock and Suraj Mani & The Tattva Trippers.

• Previous collaborations include artists, projects and groups like Lucky Ali (popular Indian songwriter), Arooj Aftab (world fusion/Pakistani song), Gamelan Galak Tika (traditional Balinese), Project O.N.S (electro/jazz/funk), Joya (neo-soul), RED Mawkin (singer/songwriter), Schizophonic (electro-acoustic trio), Instinct (funk/rock from Shillong), Clinton Cerejo (MTV Coke Studio) and some of the foremost jazz musicians on the Indian scene.
