Rebecca Long
Servant Leader, Technologist, and Change Maker in Cheney, WA
I lead a software engineering team and have a background in quality assurance and DevOps. My passions for diversity, equity and inclusion have led me to found Spokane-based non-profit Future Ada which advocated for diversity, equity, and inclusion in STEAM (science, technology, engineering, art, and mathematics), volunteer as Vice Chair of Spokane's chapter of National Organization for Women. I am a member of various academic advisory boards including serving as a leader on the Eastern Washington University Computer Science Professional Advisory Board. I previously ran for Cheney City Council, currently serve as Chair of the Cheney Members Association and am a founding member of Cheney Cohousing.
