Greenwich, London

21-year-old Creative Writing BA student, second year, at Univeristy of Greenwich. I study courses that touch on screenwriting, playwriting, lit crit, theatre crit and prose. Currently I'm adding to my skills and my CV by both developing a stage project with other university departments and producing work independantly for fiction competitions. I'm hoping to branch out into a bit of shoestring-budget filmmaking next year so I can make some of my screen scripts come to life.

Outside writing, I'm a fundraiser for a local charitable company. Although I'm a poor wee student, buying my beans on toast with your taxes, making moments for charity is important in my life and I'm interested in many forms of funding, fundraising and the third sector. In college I dabbled in graphic design and photography and if the chance arises while I'm out and about I still like to indulge with my terrible Blackberry phone camera, or my much less terrible little DSLR.

I grew up in seaside Sussex, but London is much better suited to my changeable temper- you can stand out one day, then vanish in the crowd the next. I live in a shared house on a hill you can see Canary Wharf and the Olympic stadium from, with a screenwriter, a film reviewer and a TV professional. On our wilder Saturday nights we like to crack open a cream soda, sit around and be a bit rude about ITV.
