AMBER GONZALES-VARGAS
Public Speaker in Berkeley, California
I was raised in a hybrid environment that propagated the fusion of Peruvian culture and American culture that shaped my global mindset.
I am a UC Berkeley graduate with a degree in Political Economy and French, with a minor in Global Poverty and Practice. In addition to my academic experience, I have broadened my horizons by working with Rotary International, studying abroad in the south of France and interning with Teach for America in New York.
After a transformative undergraduate experience, I worked in Costa Rica as a Global Communications Coordinator for the company Rustic Pathways. Currently, I am a volunteer coordinator for the California Democratic Party.
Organizational effectiveness, leadership development, marketing, public speaking, social justice and playing the cajon are just a few of my passions.
My current side hustle passions include contributing to the Huffington Post Latino Voices and HerAgenda.
