Amber Harding

I am a graduate student at Arizona State's Walter Cronkite School of Journalism and Electronic Media. I earned an undergraduate degree in Journalism and Electronic Media from the University of Tennessee. I was born and raised in Indianapolis.

During my educational years, I have run the gamut of the journalism world. I have worked as a radio host, a news anchor, a sports reporter, an editor and a media relations staff member. I have completed internships for Pacers Sports and Entertainment, Joy 620 WRJZ (Knoxville, Tenn.), Scripps Networks and the Tennessee Titans. At UT, I also worked in the Sports Information Department and served as chief copy editor and a columnist for the school's newspaper, The Daily Beacon.

After earning my Master's from Cronkite, I hope to work for a professional sports team, either as a media relations staffer or an in-house reporter. I am currently accepting freelance work and taking advantage of any opprtunities that come my way.

I love sports, country music, running and spoiling my dog Lucy. I bartend to support my journalism habit.
