She works closely with general managers and sales professionals to drive property revenues and increase the company's market share, while collaborating with property leaders to optimize profits and efficiency of operations. Amber Birkeland comes to this role with 20 years of hospitality sales experience, having entered the industry with Homestead Studio Suites in Denver, Colorado, in 1998.

Amber Birkeland joined the Homestead team as a front desk clerk and within five years rose to the role of hotel manager. She left the company in 2006 to accept her first purely sales-focused role as cluster director of sales for White Lodging Services, where she achieved platinum results for her profit and market share work on behalf of Courtyard by Marriott and Residence Inn by Marriott.

Amber Birkeland remained in service to White Lodging for five years, during which time she earned promotion to director of sales and marketing. She then went on to serve in the same role for Westmont Hospitality Group, where she served for four years before accepting her current position.
