AMBER BRADSHAW is a director/dramaturg, producer, and playwright with a sole focus in new works and script development. Since 2016, Amber has been the Managing Artistic Director of Working Title Playwrights (www.workingtitleplaywrights.com). In Atlanta she has worked with Actor’s Express, Synchronicity Performance Group, Theatrical Outfit, the Center for Puppetry Arts, Working Title Playwrights, Theatre du Reve, Out of Hand Theater, and the Essential Theatre. Since 2011 she has directed and developed plays for the annual Essential Theatre Bare Essentials Reading Series, including Split in Three by Atlanta playwright Daryl Lisa Fazio, which received it’s World Premiere at Florida Repertory Theatre April 2015. She curated the stage readings for Essential’s Bare Essentials Readings in 2013, and directed a stage reading of Atlanta playwright Theroun Pattersons' That Uganda Play that same year. The revised script was subsequently awarded the festival prize from the Essential Theatre in 2014 and received a fully mounted production, which Amber directed.

She was a co-developer with an ensemble of actors, puppeteers, and video artists in the development ofTime to Eat the Dogs (2013) and co-createdLearning to Fly (2014). Both pieces were selected to premiere at Atlanta’s Center for Puppetry Arts’s annual Xperimental Puppetry Theater. Learning to Fly was also selected from a field of over seventy international candidates to perform in a Festival of New Works hosted by Les Sages Fous (September 2014, Quebec, Canada). She served as co-producer for Gathering Wild Dance’s original production Circa 50 (2014), a multi-media dance/text performance piece. This past December, she directed a premiere stage reading of The Cannibals by Theroun Patterson for Working Title Playwrights’ Ethel Woolson Lab at the Alliance Theatre. The revised script was awarded a premiere production in Charleston, SC. In February, Amber co-produced/created, directed, and performed in the world premiere of Identified, a derived, multimedia collaboration with choreographer Corian Ellisor. In January 2018, Amber directed The Mystery of Love and Sex at Out Front Theater and is currently the dramaturg/director for The Handprint by Annie Harrison Elliot.
