A quick summary of me is as follows: I'm a graphic designer who secretly (or not-so-secretly, this is the internet after all) wants to be a full-fledged novelist. I really enjoy going to art museums and my iPod is stocked with over 6,000 songs right now. I've got a knack for knowing a little about a lot. I'd love to be a master at something, but there are too many possibilities in life available for me to just settle on one.
So for now, I can tell you this. I can design well, I'm good at figuring out which typefaces won't suck within a project, I'm handy with the editing features in Photoshop when I need to be, I've rarely met a book I haven't read at least twice, I've got a stock-pile of novel ideas in various folders on my computer. Most importantly, I'm a Mac, not a PC.
I'm interested in learning as much as I can about as much as I can. My interests range from collecting design books from Half-Price Bookstore to following fashion photography blogs, even though I myself am not terribly fashionable. Sometimes I wear skinny jeans and a blazer, and instantly assume I look polished. I might be wrong. I'd like to think I'm a decent bowler and I love my friends and family. I currently have a full-time job at a magazine, where I'm an editor and a designer. I try to blend the best of both worlds.
You could say I'm versatile. I don't enjoy monotony in my day-to-day. Coincidentally, I don't do well with change all the time in different aspects of my life besides my professional one... but I'm learning. And that's all you can do, right?
Learn. Try. Grow. Experiment. Fail. Pick yourself back up. Try again.
