The egg came first.

If we want to get technical, genetic mutation enables evolution. Sporadic typos or overrides in DNA replication are fitted and preserved through natural selection. Therefore, new species are mutated offspring. Today's chicken is the result of an egg sporting a unique recipe, acquired through mistranslation. Humans are the result of two ancestral ape chromosomes accidentally fusing together. Makes you think twice about the “Telephone” game, doesn’t it? That gossip was our genome!

When I’m not partying in the computer lab, I like to play volleyball, investigate the complexities of human experience, and learn just about anything.
