Dr. Ameena Ali
Mother, Public Speaker, and Project Manager in New York
Hello there!
I’m Dr. Ameena; a decorated, Service Connected, Desert Storm Veteran, a stoic Academician and communal public speaker in Gender, Human and Maternal Rights, living in New York.
I am a huge fan of village volunteering, supporter of entrepreneurship, and a self-confessed Foodie! I’m an advocate of access and equity in education and can’t find a better way to relax than cooking.
My (now) adult daughters and budding grand children have formed a great Tribe that I’m proud to nurture.
I am equally the Founder and Executive Director of The Federation of International Gender, and Human Rights, (FIGHR.org) a symbiotic and Indigenous social impact, organization, designed, and formulated, to offer real time solutions for those women and girls healing from FGM, Child Bride and those rising from Sexual, Gender-based, domestic, and Intimate Partner violence, survival sex and human trafficking.
We are continually raising money for these programs, feminine/period items, Maternal postpartum and nursing pads and (all size) diapers. Afflilated with Harbor Heritage University (the first and only accreditated institution for Gender and Human Rights), we offer collegiate scholarships for communal “train the trainer” programs, to educate tribal, traditional and community members, eliminating the hardships of gender inequality and bias, and the plight of ineffective representation by their government.
Kindly support our charity with a click on the button above. This will allow a woman to better her life, as she saves the victims of her village, through traditional language, cultural identity, and capacity building, and the solutions that she needs, for a better tomorrow.
I thank you and the world appreciates the help; you are truly who we have been waiting for…
