Anne Ellegood

Hey there! I’m Anne.

I’m a remote product & brand marketing director hailing from the USA.

Over the course of my marketing career I've built, launched, scaled, and led pivots for many organizations, from emerging startups to mature enterprises.

I've spent the better part of my career in the tech industry, but got my start working in professional services for marketing and advertising agencies first as a creative and then as an account lead (planning & sales.) Eventually, I made the leap to the corporate side of things as a marketing lead where having experience as a creative and as a business strategist comes in handy.

Recent-ish things I've been up to:

* Working with some super smart humans in the Cloud FinOps, Observability, and Cloud Infrastructure space. Note: My experience in dev tools really comes in handy here.

* Diving into the teachings of Pawel Huryn, Elena Verna, Adam Frankl, April Dunford, and several others

* Helping startups tell stories about themselves, their offerings, or customers

* Trying my hand at building an MVP using AI and no-code tools

* Writing a book for young adults on failing forward

Outside of work, you'll likely find me taking in the great outdoors hiking, delving into historical research to feed my metal detecting and artifact digging hobbies.
