Alex Handy

Alex Handy stuided Civil Engineer at the prestigious University of California Davis Engineer School. He graduated in June 2011.

Upon graduating, Alex began working as an Industrial Engineer for Coronet Lighting, a Los Angeles-based lighting design firm. Coronet Lighting is a truly classic American company: its products are designed, built, packaged, inspected, and shipped right here in downtown Los Angeles. Alex, along with the entire Coronet Lighting team, are contributing to American jobs and the American economy at a grassroots level. Coronet Lighting creates lamps for major retailers such as Crate and Barrel and the popular kids lamp line _____, in addition to selling their lamps directly out of their showroom in Gardena, CA. They also recently had their first "flash sale" on the popular homewares website One King's Lane.

In addition to working for Coronet Lighting, Alex enjoys sport rifle and handgun shooting, building his own computers, and (of course) Call of Duty: Modern Warefare 3. His fiance also convinced him to sign up to run in the Warrior Dash in March 2012. He is not especially excited about that.
