Amiin Qasad

Amiin Qasad is an Ethiopian technology entrepreneur, software developer, and product designer born on May 15, 2004, in Kebribeyah, Ethiopia. From an early age, he developed a strong passion for technology, digital innovation, and entrepreneurship, which led him to pursue a career in software development and startup building.

With experience in mobile application development, web development, UI/UX design, branding, and digital product creation, Amiin has worked on numerous technology projects focused on solving real-world problems through innovative solutions.

He is the Founder and CEO of eTacab, an AI-powered offline-first personal finance platform designed to help individuals manage expenses, create budgets, improve financial habits, and achieve greater financial stability. Under his leadership, eTacab focuses on combining artificial intelligence, financial analytics, and user-centered design to make personal finance more accessible across Africa.

Before founding eTacab, Amiin served as Head of Services at SomNet Technology in Jijiga, where he led service operations, managed technical teams, and contributed to technology implementation projects. He also worked as a freelance mobile application developer, delivering custom software solutions for clients and businesses.

Amiin possesses expertise in React Native, Expo, TypeScript, JavaScript, Supabase, UI/UX Design, Product Development, Startup Management, and Digital Innovation. His vision is to build impactful technology companies that empower millions of people across Africa through accessible and intelligent digital products.

Today, Amiin continues to lead the development of eTacab while working toward becoming one of Africa's leading technology founders and innovators.
