Not every round is for improving. Some are just for staying.
A Little Golf Journey
Latecomer to golf | Early to obsession
My passion for golf started on New Years Eve Dec. 31, 2022, at Southern Highlands Golf Club, Las Vegas. I quickly realised I’d found my sport, somewhat late in life, but none the less I found it. Today golf is an everyday affair — a passion that weaves itself into many parts of my life. For me, golf isn’t just a game — it’s a personal journey. I found my zen on the greens.
Why golf?
Most important: It’s fun, challenging, and I love that it requires both physical and mental strength.
I play for joy, freedom, nature, respite, the mental challenge, and creative thinking.

Some facts:
• Nerdy mom, and «latecomer» into golf
• I Live in Fredrikstad, Norway, next to a beautiful golf course — but I love to travel, visit new places, and to play at different courses. Especially I love my vacays in Las Vegas and Mexico —places I can visit often because of family. There you have everything: from desert landscapes to world-class courses.
• My educational background is a bachelor's degree in set design. I’ve worked both on stage (as part of theatre- and musical ensembles) and «behind», designing and making sets.
• Love to go to the gym (strength and cardio), and I’m at the course almost every day.
• One eyed golfing zealot —Monocular vision (blind on right eye).
—I hope my journey can inspire more «latecomers» into golf. Join the wave!

BirdieBoost
One of my favorite daily rituals is to make myself a veggie/berry loaded breakfast smoothie. A quick, easy meal that gives the shot of energy I need to power through my workout or round of golf. Simply telling myself that «A BirdieJuice a day, keeps the bogeys away». Of course there’s no magic here, but for me it‘s the best body fuel, motivation and mental-up’s for both the game and wellbeing.
