Aminah Shaharudeen

Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.

Aminah is a highly sensitive, idealistic young lady who might seem to be serious and quiet on the outside, with a high degree of aloofness, but inside she is just dying to open up and be goofy, quirky, absurd and dramatic; she has yet to acquire the skill of being a good theatre actor.

She is an animal-lover, bookish, nerdy, milk-tea loving kind of girl who studied TESL in a semi private Malaysian university. Yes, she will be a teacher to secondary school students.

She has many hopes and dreams which have yet to be achieved. Among those hopes are: being a journalist covering the international political scene, being an activist for special needs children, recording the stories of rape survivors in the Democratic Republic of Congo, organizing her very own TEDx event, learning basic coding skills, publishing a book, learning kickboxing, rallying for a cleaner environment in Malaysia (involving both mother nature and a clean political environment) and not to forget marrying a man from a different culture and country, who speaks a different language.

She believes that her future children will learn to appreciate their differences and love their fellow human beings for their diverse cultures, languages, and beliefs.
