I have over a decade of experience as a classroom teacher in K-12 education. I have taught elementary, middle, and high school students at both public and charter schools. However, I was educated at public schools in Alexandria, Virginia - where I grew up. I earned a B.A. in History from George Mason University, and an M.A. in Government from Johns Hopkins.
