Amin Dastan

I’m Amin Dastan, a Kurdish singer and songwriter from Bokan, Kurdistan, born on June 25, 1999.

My musical journey began in 2018 with the release of my debut song, “Fotwa.” Since then, I have continued to develop my own artistic identity by blending contemporary Kurdish pop with the rich traditions and emotions of Kurdish folk music.

My music is deeply rooted in Kurdish culture, identity, love, life, and personal experiences. Through every song, I strive to create an authentic connection with my audience while bringing the beauty and spirit of Kurdish music to a wider audience.

Over the years, songs such as “Fotwa,” “Zalm Zalm,” “Tana,” “Jezhwani Pari,” and “Yadakant” have become part of my musical journey. Alongside releasing music, I have performed for audiences across Kurdistan, building a strong connection with listeners both on stage and through digital platforms.

For me, music is more than just a profession—it is a way to express who I am, where I come from, and the stories and emotions that connect us all.
